The slant aluminum vent has a large flange which allows for easy installation. Its one piece base and throat is weather tight plus adds strength. As hot air rises, the vent allows the hot air to escape so it should be installed up towards the peak of the roof for maximum exhaust. It has a 9" diameter opening and provides 50 square inches of net free area. The color is brown.
